1. Completely stock car Suv or truck (no dual wheels) no smaller than mid-sized cars are allowed. Must remain completely stock Including exhaust up to muffler must run a muffler (see muffler under rules) Intake must be stock may run any air filter that fits stock intake. NO LOCKED REAR / FRONT ENDS! NO TUNED ECM’S OR CHIPS!
2. BODY All glass, trim and plastic & air bags must be removed (NOT BROKEN AND INSIDE CAR OR DOORS). Body – (See drawing diagram for reference)
A. convertibles and/or two seat sports cars will not be permitted.
B. The body must remain unaltered and OEM in appearance. Must have 18″ number and be able to see plainly, No derby cars, must have straight body!
C. The inner fenders must remain unaltered and OEM. Removing of the inner fenders will not be permitted.
D. The hood and trunk lid / hatchback must be positively and securely fastened, Sunroofs and tee tops must be closed in.
E. All doors must be positively and securely fastened. Doors must be permanently chained, bolted or welded shut (no pad locks).
F. All glass, exterior lights, chrome and/or plastic trim and hood insulation & air bags must be removed not broken inside the door
G. The dashboard may be removed.
H. Front and rear Bumpers may be no more than OEM stock in width maybe modified to protect radiator. See allowable Bumper photo for reference.
I. Must have a 5/16 chain front and rear or a front and rear tow hook easily accessible will be required capable of lifting car.
J. The OEM bumper covers must remain on the vehicle, but may be altered to allow for tow hook.
3. Fuel tank and Fuel
A. The fuel system must be complete, unaltered and OEM for the year, make and model of the car in competition.
B. Only standard pump gasoline will be permitted for competition. A maximum of 93 octane. Performance additives will not be permitted NO E85.
4. All engine components must remain unaltered and OEM for the year, make and model of the car being used in competition. Stock air intake only may use any air filter that fits stock intake.
A. All valve-train components must remain unaltered and OEM including but not limited to; crankshaft, connecting rods, valves, valve sizes and the bore and stroke.
B. Aftermarket and/or racing-type cylinder heads will not be permitted. High performance and/or sports car engines of any type will not be permitted. Turbo charged and/or super charged and/or rotary engines.
5 Electronics and Ignition System
A. All ignition components must be unaltered, OEM and match the year, make and model of the car in competition. Only 12 volt ignition systems will be permitted.
B. The vehicle computer (ECM) must be mounted in a visible location providing ease of inspection no modifications to ECM they are subject to confiscation and redistribution meaning someone might end up with yours. MODIFIED ECM Ignition boxes and/or performance chips and/or any ignition enhancing devices will not be permitted. Traction control of any-type will not be permitted.
C. Battery if in factory location must use factory or better bracket if in other location must be covered with a Marine-type battery box & in the bottom of the box there must be 1/4" wood or 1/8" steel with bolts thru it to securely hold box and battery and must fit snuggly in box. Only one twelve (12) volt battery.
D. Only stock OEM starters in the OEM location will be permitted.
E. Only one aftermarket tachometer, oil pressure and water temperature gauge(s) will be permitted.
F. In-car transmitting devices of any-type will not be permitted.
6 Exhaust System
A. The exhaust manifold may use OEM for the year, make and model of the car in competition.
B. Removal of the catalytic converter, air conditioning compressor and smog pump will be permitted.
C. Track rules require a muffler. catalytic converter maybe used as a muffler.
7. Transmission & Driveline
A. The transmission and/or transaxle must remain OEM and unaltered for the year, make and model of the car in competition.
B. All forward and reverse gears must be operational.
C. The flywheel, flexplate, clutch and/or torque converter and/or assembly must remain unaltered and OEM of the year, make and model of the car in competition.
D. Mini-type clutches and/or couplers will not be permitted.
E. Transmission coolers in the driver compartment will not be permitted.
F. Torque dividing final drive systems will not be permitted.
G. Locked differentials of any type will not be permitted.
H. A minimum one (1) inch inspection hole must be located in the bell housing.
A. All components and mounts must remain unaltered and OEM and must match the year, make and model of car in competition.
B. Weight jacks, modifications, racing components, aftermarket or homemade traction devices will not be permitted.
C. The car must remain in alignment from front-to-rear and must track straight.
D. negitive camber A minimum of 5 degrees required with a maximum of 10 degrees on RF, 5 degrees camber will be permitted on any wheel.
E. Center mounted steering will not be permitted.
F. A quick release, aftermarket steering wheel will be permitted. The steering column must remain OEM and unaltered.
G. Aftermarket remote reservoir power steering will not be permitted.
H. All shocks and struts must remain fully operational unaltered and OEM in the OEM location Spring rubbers will be permitted.
A. All brake 4 brakes must work at all times all components must be unaltered, OEM, magnetic steel and operative on all four wheels.
B. Disc and/or drum brakes will be permitted and they must match the year, make and model of the vehicle in competition.
C. Only OEM Master Cylinders in OEM location will be permitted.
D. Brake shut off and/or valve bias adjuster(s) will not be permitted.
E. Only magnetic steel brake lines will be permitted.
10. Wheels and Tires
A. Only OEM DOT 13, 14, 15 or 16-inch passenger tires will be permitted may run different sizes to allow for stager. Racing, mud, and/or snow tires will not be permitted.
B. Alterations of any type including re-caps, softening, chemical alteration, conditioning, siping and/or grooving will not be permitted .
C. All wheels must be OEM steel or aluminum wheels with a maximum width of seven (7) inches and a standard bead with exception of Right front as reinforcement racing wheel is strongly recommended. NO HOME MADE DRILLED OUT WHEELS ALLOWED.
D. All tires must remain inside of the body line.
E. Wheel spacers Wheel adaptors and/or bleeder valves will not be permitted.
F. One (1) inch Outside Diameter magnetic steel lug nuts are required
11. Roll Cage
A. No sharp or protruding edges in or around the cockpit, which would impede the driver’s rapid exit from the car.
B. Windshield screens with a minimum of .090 inch screens must be securely fastened
C. Flame retardant seat, roll bar, knee and steering pads or padding are recommended
D. MUST have good roll bar or cage, 3 points or more properly welded and secured to car by plate and bolts thru floor or welded . Racing Seatbelts and shoulder belts required. See general rules
It is recommended that car be equipped with complete roll cage a minimum of 2 on the passenger side. driver’s side girth plate located on outside of 3door bars, from most forward edge of bars to 8 inches behind back of seat Maximum size is 1.5″ O.D., 0.95″ tubing. All cars must have front and rear hook ups by removing deck lid or hood for towing. All roll bar & cage welds must be complete and pass inspection by tech officials. Unless otherwise noted all tubing utilized in the construction of the roll cage must be 1.50-inch Outside Diameter, .095-inch thick magnetic steel tubing. No rub rails, No kickers.
E. A minimum of three (3) windshield bars and/or a protective screen will be required in front of the driver. Must have useable fire extinguisher located in a regular metal extinguisher bracket in accessible position.
F. The driver compartment must be sealed completely from the track, the engine and the fuel cell. The front and rear firewalls must remain and any holes must be patched with magnetic steel.
G. Mirrors will not be permitted.
H. Gutting of body of the car will not be permitted with the exception of clearance for the roll cage and door bars.
I. All material considered flammable including but not limited to the radio, airbags must be removed.
J. The interior must remain open.
12. Driver/Safety & required equipment See general rules
A. must have useable fire extinguisher located in a regular metal extinguisher bracket in accessible position. No communications radios for driver. Nobody under 16 years of age 16 years old must have proper paperwork completed by both parents prior to competition
B. Track supplies transponder for Scoring it is your responsibility return in the way you received it.
C Raceceivers are mandatory
D. Additional weight of any type will not be permitted. Any item(s) that are deemed to provide additional weight must be removed.
A. The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) must remain clearly visible and unaltered in a minimum of one (1) of the OEM locations. Any car missing the VIN will not be permitted to enter competition.
B. The entire car may be claimed and/or exchanged by the track operator/promoter and/or another competitor who finishes on the lead lap in the stated feature event. A competitor may make only one such claim per season fail to let car be claimed lose all points for season and suspended from competition in the compact class;
1. $1,000 cash claim and/or exchange on complete car.
A. The claim does not include any of the following; Seat, seatbelts, any other permanently mounted safety items and/or the fuel cell and/or electronic fuel pump.
C. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, paid based upon number of entries There will be a 6 or 8 invert from the heat race finish prior week’s feature winning driver will start no better than 6th or 7th in the next Feature race that they compete
